Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, and I'd like to share a little bit about myself and my project with you. The WM3 Project is my master's final project (kind like a thesis).
I'm originally from Northeast Pennsylvania (NEPA), from a very small town. I graduated from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. with a degree in political science in 2009. And I'm now here in Memphis pursuing my master's with a focus on news. I'm hoping to get a reporting position when I graduate in May.
I originally heard about the West Memphis Three case when I moved to Memphis. People would say things like, "Oh, remember the West Memphis Three case?" when in conversation. But I really didn't think too much about it, until a professor suggested I look into the case. I was immediately hooked. Since then, I've dived into the case and been eager to share what I've learned or found interesting with others. This blog is a part of that. This blog serves as an arena for thoughts about the case, interesting articles, photos and more.
